Little Crafty Club: Brand Development

A colourful little brand born from a big idea dreamed up with my kids, bringing creativity, play and plenty of personality together.

The Project

Little Crafty Club started as an idea my kids and I dreamed up together when they were five and seven. The plan was to create fun craft kits and subscription packs designed by kids, for kids, with everything they needed to get creating (and hopefully a little less mess and planning for their parents).

I created the brand identity, packaging and website concept around that idea, developing a bright, playful visual style that could grow across craft kits, merchandise and other little extras.

In the end, we discovered that running a subscription craft business was slightly ambitious for a five-year-old, a seven-year-old and their already-busy graphic designer Mum, so Little Crafty Club never quite made it into production. But it remains a project I love, both for the brand itself and for the two very enthusiastic little creative directors behind it.

One less thing to think about

Running a business or managing a busy marketing workload comes with enough moving parts. Design doesn’t need to be another one.

There are more ways than ever to tackle design yourself, but figuring out how to do it, making all the little decisions and finding the time to actually get it done can quickly become another job in itself.

That’s where I come in. Hand it over and I’ll take care of the design, so you can get on with the things that actually need you.

Hand it over

Give me the brief, the problem or even the half-formed idea. I’ll ask the right questions, work through the details and take it from there.

Get on with it

I’ll take care of the design, freeing you up to focus on the work that actually needs you.

Know it's in safe hands

I’ll get to know your brand and what you’re trying to achieve, then deliver thoughtful, considered design you can feel confident putting out into the world.
